This project sought to disrupt a particular, prevalent telling of historical events — evident in cultural projects such as Schindler's List but also, in Holocaust memorial institutions such as Yad Vashem and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum — that present the end of the Holocaust and the creation of the state of Israel in a narrative of liberation and redemption, and one that ignores the impact of these events on Palestinians.
